Background: Recovery of patients with mental health disorders and chronic mental health disorders presents the main goal of evidence-based rehabilitation.
Methods: Research protocols regarding the combination of pharmacotherapy and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and rehabilitation will be presented and discussed. Some case studies will be also highlighted.
Results: The efficacy and effectiveness of the combination of evidence-based treatments is proved through the research protocols regarding cognitive functions, psychopathology, functional outcome and recovery.
Conclusions: Evidence-based pharmacotherapy and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy and rehabilitation lead to recovery in mental health.
