Objective: To investigate the application value of combined chin resistance training and precision feeding training in the rehabilitation care of patients with dysphagia following cerebral infarction, providing reference for optimizing clinical intervention protocols. Methods: Using a random number table, 80 patients with dysphagia following cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital were divided into two groups. The selection period was from October 2023 to October 2025, with 40 patients in each group. Both groups received routine rehabilitation care. The control group underwent chin resistance training in addition to routine care, while the observation group received precision feeding training on top of routine care. Both groups underwent continuous intervention for one month. Pre- and post-intervention comparisons were made for swallowing function (Standard Swallowing Assessment [SSA]), complication incidence, and quality of life (Swallowing-Specific Quality of Life [SWAL-QOL]) between groups. Results: Post-intervention, the observation group demonstrated lower SSA scores and higher SWAL-QOL scores compared to the control group (P < 0.05). The observation group also exhibited lower overall incidence rates of complications including aspiration, aspiration pneumonia, and oral infections compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Combining chin resistance training with precision feeding training as an intervention for dysphagia patients after cerebral infarction effectively improves swallowing function, reduces the risk of complications, and further enhances patients' quality of life. This approach provides a practical and efficient new pathway for optimizing clinical rehabilitation care strategies and holds significant value for widespread application.
