Igor Franovic

He was born in 1979 in Belgrade, Serbia. I received BSc, MSc and PhD in theoretical Physics from the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade (research fields Nonlinear Dynamics and Stochastic Processes). His research interests include (1) self-organization in coupled excitable systems; (2) reduction approaches to collective dynamics of coupled systems; (3) stability and bifurcation analysis of systems of stochastic and stochastic-delay differential equations; (4) multiple timescale dynamics; (5) multistability, switching dynamics and adaptivity in neural networks; (6) theory of nonlinear dynamics in interdisciplinary research; (7) ordering in kinetic spin systems. From 2017-2020, He served as an Associate Editor in Chaos, Solitons and Fractals. Currently, he is an Associate Editor in the Journal of Applied Nonlinear Dynamics. He also serve as a Referee in more than 30 international peer-reviewed journals.
